•The Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad was the first IMT campus created. The 14 acre site suffered from unplanned development, with institutional and residential buildings having come up in a largely ad-hoc fashion. This arbitrary quality also extended to the materials used for buildings and hardscape areas. Vehicular circulation dominated the site and parking areas were ill defined. People places and pedestrian zones were almost completely absent.
The new Master Plan sought to provide a clear segregation of vehicular and pedestrian circulation systems, to define landscape zones of different natures and to visually and physically integrate disparate building types and open areas.
